Detail at close range
At 2.976 mm, the image holds up from roughly 3 metres. Front-row audiences see a picture, not a grid of lamps.
For festivals, concerts, sports & municipal events
An outdoor screen isn't competing with the audience. It's competing with the sun, the rain and the wind.
CONEQ Hellas has added an outdoor P2.9 LED wall system built for conditions indoor equipment cannot survive. At a 2.976 mm pixel pitch — a figure that until recently belonged strictly indoors — the screen holds detail at close viewing distance while working under a Greek summer sun, through night humidity, and in venues with no roof to rig from.
In practice, one system now covers the festival in the square, the concert in the open-air theatre, the sports event and the corporate roadshow — without the usual compromise of a coarse "screen for distance" that falls apart for anyone in the front rows.

Many times the output of an indoor panel, with automatic adjustment so the same content reads at 2 in the afternoon and doesn't blind anyone at 10 at night.
Sealed cabinets, protected connections, and proper earthing to safety standards. The screen stays up and operational when the programme carries on through drizzle.
Open ground gives you nothing to hang from. We build on a free-standing, ballasted structure, with the wind-load calculated for that specific site exposure.
A high refresh rate ensures that streaming and archive cameras pick up no scan lines or flicker.
One outdoor system covers municipal squares, festivals, sports and corporate roadshows — without compromising front-row clarity.
IMAG with live cameras, visuals, and sponsor content between sets.
Live results, replays, timing, and finish-line coverage.
Commemorations, square screenings, and ceremonies.
A touring build repeated with absolute consistency from city to city.
Live links, project films, and speaker presentations.
An image that doesn't wait for darkness the way a traditional projector does.
Calculated from 500 × 500 mm / 168 × 168 px cabinets. Brightness, IP, refresh, weight and power draw should be confirmed against the manufacturer datasheet before final publication.
Every size is a multiple of 0.5 m because cabinets are 500 mm. 8.0 × 4.5 m is the only layout that lands exactly on 16:9 — useful when the client delivers finished video.

A 6 × 3.5 m screen is a solid 21-square-metre sail. In Attica, with the meltemi blowing, that is not an engineering footnote — it is the critical safety item of every open-air build. Before every outdoor project, we deliver:
Yes. The outdoor system runs many times brighter than an indoor panel, which is exactly what midday use requires. The image stays readable; contrast drops only in direct, harsh sun, which is why our survey proposes an orientation that avoids facing the setting sun head-on.
The cabinets are weather-sealed and connections are protected, so rain alone does not stop the event. Wind is the deciding safety factor, not water — which is why a strict wind-speed limit is agreed upon in advance.
It stands on a free-standing ballasted structure and needs no rigging points. However, where a venue has a suitable and certified truss, we can fly it instead.
Typically 1.5 to 4.5 metres, depending on the height and the required ballast. The survey calculates this exactly so it doesn't eat into the stage space or the audience walkways.
The exact resolution of the configuration — for example, 2016 × 1176 px on a 6 × 3.5 m screen. We confirm this in writing as soon as the dimensions are locked, along with the precise video encoding specs.
For a typical configuration of up to 21 m², expect half a day to a full day for the structure, screen installation, cabling, and testing. This does not count site access time and the securing of municipal permits.
It depends on the total surface area and the content being displayed. We calculate the exact requirement during the survey and confirm if the venue's supply is adequate. If not, we will propose a suitable generator solution.
